AH HOW EDITORS i Paula F.wnkl. New Editor: Sue Wilson. Feature Editor: Dave Albert . Business Manager: Kay I’mlioefer. Insert Editor: George Fisher. Sports Editor. Every third Friday is a very special day at Southwest. Just at the end of fifth period a member of the Arrow staff brings the coveted Arrows into all of the classes to the delight of everyone. However, a big sigh can be heard in room 414. for another Arrow has been successfully turned out to the relief of the staff. Room 414 is a very interesting place, for besides having the materials and people necessary to plan a newspaper, it has many items rarely found in newspaper planning rooms. For instance, the first thing you notice when walking into the room is the assemblage of calendars on the walls. These are to remind the staff of the many deadlines they have to meet. Another item of interest is the tapestry—very lovely, but actually there to cover up the dirt on the wall! An unusually small staff hasn't stopped this year's editors Paula Kwald. Sue Wilson. Kay Umhocfer, George Fisher, and the rest, from publishing a first-rate paper fourteen times this year. Congratulations to Advisor Mrs. Zittlcman and to the Arrow Staff of ‘54 for their fine job!
