Volleyball and badminton were played after school under the direction of Elinor Boylan. Many of the girls took part in individual sports and were successful in swimming, golf, and Tennis. This year Hi-Y, with its four active chapters, met each week to plan interesting and helpful activities for the boys such as: an induction banquet, a basketball tournament, parties, movies, and guest speakers. They also sponsored the Annual Easter Program successfully. For their service project, they participated in F.O.B.. which is a service For Other Boys. That's how the council begins, and it is kept busy until the hour bell rings. The activities this year included the Football Opener.' the Freshman Party, and the Homecoming Dance. Some of its members attended the M.A.S.C. Conference, the Leadership Conference, and the council had a joint conference with Washburn. The Booster Club welcomed Freshmen and new students.
