Library Staff
The Library Staff plays a very important part in Southside High School. There
is more to a rnember's job than to sit behind a big desk and say, iLMay I see your
slip?'y or 'iHave your slips signed, please." It goes far beyond that. The staff keeps
the books in their proper order on the shelves, assists students in selecting books,
gives information as to where books may be found, eharges outgoing books, replaces
cards in incoming books, and assists Miss Barber in many other ways.
To show her appreciation to her 'ilibrary fumilyf, Miss Barber entertains theni
in June at a luncheon at the Mark Twain Hotel.
