FOOTBALL SEASON-1925
Under the capable guidance of Coach Arthur Hirst and the line leadership
of Captain Earl Ridall, the 1925 football season was a success, despite the aqueous
conditions that were ever disastrous to the E. H. S. team. Vv'hile they did not
obtain the highest honors, they may feel proud to have been not only the one
team that tied Binghamton, the State champions, but the only team that crossed
their goal line. Remembering that the 1925 schedule was one of the hardest
schedules of any high school in the State, we are proud of the team and willingly
oifer three rousing cheers for Coach Hirst-and our team.
At the close of the season W'illiam Haheck, an All-State selection, was
wisely chosen captain for 1926.
