L BLUE AND WHITE ANNUAL Page 24 Pages From a Seniofs Diary FRIDAY, April 28 1925 The much-planned Junior Prom came off today. It surely was a great suc- cess. Everybody was there. TUESDA Y, SEPT. 8, 1925 A Senior at last! My last year at Southside! And 1,111 in the Senior home room, too. Even though it rained all day, it didn't dampen my spirits at all. WEDIVESDAY, OCT. 3, 1925 As usual, we elected our officers at our first meeting. Donald Butters won the presidencyg Arlene Antes is vice-president, Katherine O'Connor, secretary, and Malcolm Condon, treasurer. , FRIDAY, NOV. 24, 1925 Had another Senior meeting today to decide about the year book. It was some riot, but we iinally settled down and decided on a substitute. THUICSDA Y, FEB. 18, 1926 Had the tryouts for the Senior play, Green Stockings, today. jo Ford- ham is leading lady and Laurie Hobler leading man. I just know it's going to be great. FRIDAY, APRIL 23, 1926 Events are happening thick and fast. Today-the day of OUR Senior Prom. Gee, I had a great time. I'll never forget it-Durfey's orchestra, ice cream. 'n everything. It sure was a knockout. SATURDA Y, IU.-IY 15, 1926 At last, after all the ticket-selling, rehearsing and worrying, our play is over. Talk about a hit-say, Green Stockings has it all over any of Shakes-- peare's or even Cecil B. DeMille's productions. TUESDAY, JUNE 22, 1926 The event of all events! The day of all days! Graduation! No longer am I a dignified Senior, but the proud owner of a high school diploma. Perhaps my last day in school-can it be possible? But there is everything to look for- ward to, and, indeed everything that is pleasant and enjoyable to look back upon -this greatest day of all my days-Commencement!
