Math relates to reason and life
As the subject which most closely in-
volves the art of reason, math holds
a special place in the educational sys-
tem. High school math is important even
for those who do not intend to go to
college: for math doesn't only teach
numbers, equations and formulas, it tea-
ches the individual to think and to rea-
son for himself.
