Zerilla The Spanish Club of i967-68 have par- ticipated in Powder Puff Football games with the German and French clubs, which they won a victory over German club. Spanish girls have also participated in the All Star game against Geibel High School. Boys have played football with German and French club. Spanish Club in the near future will take a trip to Seven Springs as a fun night. Also a trip to Laurelvill, the annual picnic in May. We have also sponsored dances and bake sales. French Club Officers F. Zearley, L. Sheppard, D. Johns, D. Lewis, S. Clay- comb The French club is composed of Juniors and Seniors currently studying French. The main purpose of the club is to promote an interest in French culture through language study, reading, and field trips. Journalism lub The Journalism Club is the so- cial outlet of the Journalism pro- gram at Southmoreland High School. lt is designed to provide the members of the program with an opportunity to form a fellowship based on journalistic interests. Annually the club spon- sors the Sadie Hawkins Dance, an imaginary journey to Dog Patch , and The Journalism Club picnic, in the spring. The club sponsor is Mr. Clara.
