The 1967 edition of the National Honor Society has tried to uphold the success of its predecessors by electing into the society only those who have been able to faithfully and honestly live up to those four requirements upon which admission to thelranks of this select group is based. These four factors which determine whether or not a student is eligible for election to .the National Honor Society are a good honest character, academic excelgnce, a strong sense of leadership, and a sin- cere respect for his fellow men. Only those gifted few who are able to meet all of these standards are given the opportunity to receive this, the high- est award that can be bestowed upon a student during his years in high school.
