The 1973 varsity baseball team ended its season with a 19-8 record. They also tied for first in the Wabash River Conference race with North Montgomery.

The 8th grade track team was very successful this spring. ln dual meet competition the boys were defeated only by Tuttle. The competition in the E. Tipp Relays created a valuable learning experience for all boys participating. The 7th grade track team has great potential and is expected to contribute heavily to future Mountie teams. If the boys continue to Work as hard as they have this spring there could possibly be some state contenders from this group.
