Due to inexperience, the B-Team gridders posted a 2.-4-1 record. But Coach Hallas remains optimistic and is looking forward to a more rewarding season next year. Always enthusiastic, the guys on the sidelines kept the starter's moral up during a few trying moments.

R. C. conference for the second straight year. Led by All-Conference selec- tions Dan Booth, jeff Davidson, Don Mills, and Jerry Mitchell, the Big Red Machine , rolled to an impres- sive 8-2 record. The year was fil- led with happiness and sorrow as Southmont went down in defeat for the first time in its history against YV North Putnam, but bounced back to gain a share of the W. R.C. crown. With practice and lots of blood, sweat, and tears, the football team had another successful year on the gridiron. With words of encouragement from coaches Coudret and Hess, the Mounties rolled to a share of the W. R. C. crown.
