The band's year was highlighted by two public concerts, and field trip to Crawfordsville, to see the I. U. Symphonic Band. March 31st was a special day for the Mountie Musicians . . . it was the day the band received a first rating in contest competition. Southmont also played host to the County Music Festival in March. s 42
