' Wf HYER HALL In business, which is now recognized as a distinct profession, there is much need for thorough training. TTie School of Business Administration aims to give the stu- dent a good foundation for his future business career by teaching him to analyze business data, to deal with human relationships, and to develop a sense of moral obligation. Emphasis is laid upon education in fundamental principles rather than drill work in technical details. Tlie first two years of the course, known as pre- business, are devoted to the basic subjects of regular arts and sciences curricula. TTie annual Businessmen ' s Day provides an opportunity for students to become acquainted with successful men and women in their major fields. This year will see the beginning of the construction of the School of Business Administration ' s new home — the 51,500,000 Joseph Wylie Fincher Memorial Build- ing. K4ade possible by funds provided by the will of the late Mrs. J. W. Fincher, the building should be completed early in 1954.
