Questions of policies of the institution are referred to it as the controlling body, making laws and regulations under the Board of Trustees. VVHITSITT The College Council is composed of one representative from each of the six depart- ments in the College of Arts and Sciences: English, Foreign Languages, Social Sciences, Science and Nlathematics, Education, and Commerce. Each year the members are nominated by the president and elected by the faculty of the College. The Council serves as 2111 executive committee of the faculty, and 215 an advisor of the dean; its main function is to determine the college curriculum and arrange a suitable Class schedule. New courses are given upon the recommendation of the Council. :l:211:
