DEDICATIGN To the members of the Social Committee, a group of faculty members Whose constant interest is the social life of the college, this book is dedicated. Since its organization in IQI5, the committee has given proof of its efficiency in supervising student entertainments, being ever on the alert to find some means of making campus life more wholesome and more enjoyable. The signal achievement- of the Social Committee during the school year, 1933-34, was the lifting of an outworn ban against student dances on the campus. The Homecoming Dance of last fall, the first campus dance, which was held in the new Gymnasium, was so successful that it has been followed by many others. hfiss hdary Entsminger is the very capable chairman of the group. The two deans, hffr. George D. Wiliam and Xfiss Lucy K. 'Woody, also are members, as are likewise Coach XYilliam hTcAndrew and Miss Frances Etheridge of the Physical Educa- tion departmentg Bliss hilary Crawford, the Head of Anthony Hallg Dr. Thelma Kelloggg hliss Esther Powerg and Dr. R.
