CADET or THE YEAR . - MAJOR RICHARD SEBASTIAN The Superintendent's Trophy honors the cadet of the ninth grade, who in the opinion of the Academy Staff, has contributed service above and beyond the ordinary requirements of graduation. This young man must be of high moral cal'iber, good Christian character, pleasing personality and must have a deep loyalty to the Cadet Corps. His aca- demic average must be creditable and his leader- ship inthe Military department above average. This outstanding cadet is called THE CADET OF THE YEAR, and for his efforts receives the plaudits of the Cadet Corps, staff and faculty. ln addition he receives an attractive medal and his name is en- graved onthe perpetual trophy with the disting- uished students who have won this award before.
