D P gg S -gn--M-dnt' Brannon, Hall and Reed Appointed to Replace Former Administrators At the beginning of the fall semester, two faculty members, Alan Brannon and Richard Reed, acted on a part-time basis as As- sistant Deans of Students. The deans worked with AMS, the administration of the housing program, the resident hall as- sistants, and coordinated activities on campus. Because Rollie Flaherty was on leave for the 1972-73 academic year, Linda Hall former physical education instructor replaced him as Director of Student Activities. Miss Hall was also adviser to CAB. Directing the resident assistants for the women's dormitory was one of the chores of Pat Weaver as Dean of Women. In her busy schedule Miss Weaver found time to advise the Compass Club, the Cheerleaders, and AWS. TOP LEFT: Two women students seek advice from Pat Weaver, Dean of Women. The Bray and Mulerider were advised by Paul Mays, who was in his first year at SSC. The registrar's duties are numerous, and some of the most important include the designation of the system of numbering courses. maintaining services of transfer transcripts, composing a oomplete permanent record of the academic work of students and providing records of evaluation of transfer credits to the office of the Vice President for Academic Af- fairs. Serving directly under the president, the business manager is responsible for the management and accounting of all finances of the institution, for purchasing and procuring materials, for main- taining an inventory of all college property and for preparing and distributing the payroll.
