MEMORIAM Portage County school, on the death of Calvm P Rausch, lost a competent, ded1cated frxend and admnustrator For 23 years Mr Rausch was supermtendent of the Portage County school system Over the years Mr Rausch was admned by thousands of students, admxnlstrators, and c1t1zens of the county Hxs capable supervxsxon of the schools along wlth hxs hum111ty, exemplary char acter and frlendlmess attalned for h1m the respect of the people of hls own commumty as well as throughout Oh1o Mr Rausch was not only a memorable contr1but1on to the f1e1d of educatlon, Ins admxrable work was also seen mn hxs own comrnumty He headed several county charltable campalgns, supported the pro grams of many orgamzanons and xnstztutlons and was also an actlve worker LD h1s church He was a devoted husband father of four ch11dren The death of Mr Rausch was mourned by thousands of Portage County residents He w11l long be remembered as an educator an as a frxend 3
