Carter, industrial arts teacher at Southeast for nineteen years. In addition to teaching metal classes, Mr. Carter gave many hours of unselfish service to our school. He headed the Crusader photography staff and trained many students throqghout the years to operate the photographic equipment. During his last illness, Mr. Carter requested that his personal photographic equipment be given to Southeast High School. These valuable cameras and attachments have been received with sincere appreciation by the photography staff. To Mr. Roy M. Carter, dedicated teacher and loyal friend of Southeast High School, we dedicate the Crusader of 1965. 4
