Choir .... r This has been a memorable year for the choir and Hos. To the relief of all members, new irridescent red formals were pur- chased for the girls and matching bow ties and cummerbunds for the boys. A candy sale helped to raise money for the music department. If some of the members of the department look a little green, it is from eating too many uturtlesl' and fudge pies. Highlighting the outside concerts was the choir's one-hundredth church concert presented at the South Wayne Baptist Church. In addition to church concerts, the choir sang at assemblies, the Senior Reception, and many other school activities. Lower left: What inner sanctum holds this dark horse C the organ! D? Art Club Sponsored by Mrs. Ruth Fleck, Art Club consists of students interested in art and desiring to work in various media by creating a great appreciation of art. This year members made flannel telephone book covers and Easter cards, using lamination as a method of creating designs on tissue. Upper left: Kay Newell and Jean Mills, 'itypical art members, are blockprinting telephone book covers. Lower left: The fall semester officers Louise Mise- gades, treasurer, Bev Engleman, president, Janice Leist, vice-president, Joyce Flaugh, point recorder, and Anne Plogsterth, secretary, are planning a club meeting. Boomer Clulv What would we do without the Booster Club to sell us refreshments at our basketball and football games? The club takes care of concessions in order to make money for things needed by the school and to provide for the yell leaders, who are a division of the Booster Club. Misses Frances Stobaugh and Mabel Fortney sponsor the concessions branch of the club. Mr. Quance has charge of the yell leaders, and Miss Rowena Harvey is general chairman. Upper right: Industriously counting money are Linda Coker, David Bishop, Cami Spaw, Miss Stobaugh, and Miss Fortney.
