1 fsbawerdall 7mm y Left to Right: Harold Nowick, Harland Borns, Lonnie Scriver, martin Archer, Steven Marten- bee, Gary Scriver, Lau- rel Birdsall, David Hedman, N al Sc i and Leo Kannas During the 1951 52 season, the South Shore Grade basketball team played lOgames winning 8 and losing 2 In a grade tourny at Waverly, the team took runners up, by defeating Strandburg in the first round of play In the flnals, Revillo defeated South Shore. There are two eight graders on the team, Harold Nowick and Harland Borns, who will next year be bringing their knowledge of basketball into high school. e r ver, f' 0 ' , A Vf??7 2 f ,L'e4-4014 Left to Right: Helen Carlson, Ruth Archer, and Shirley Noeldner. These girls were chosen in tte fall of 1952 to lead the cheering for the grade basketball. They spent much of their time practicing hath old and new vells and attended nearly all of the Dames. Their pen and enthusiasm did much to encourage a success- ful team. During the season they also Formed a pen snuad consistinr of: Carol Elshere, Judy Scriver, Betty Drake and Patty Benn.
