'MENS 'E 'Q Early in the season Coach Terry McLaughlin predicted that his team would finish in the top four of the league then go on to the district play offs and qualify for the state tournament. Well that's exactly what they did! Even though the team had quite a fevv injuries during the season, this situa' tion actually proved advantageous, Since the injuries befell players in a lead, ership position, many of the team meme bers were able to assume a captain role. On this sulject, Coach McLaughlin come mented, Now we have a strong lead, ership situation. We had five different captains throughout the season and they all had a chance to see what it was Iilse. It helped the team when Kelly McGhe- hey Cout with injuryl returned because they all lools up ta her.
