Newly established this year was The Committee on Evaluation ot Student Government under the ioint leadership of Lynda Thiesen and Karen Blundell. This raised the number ot A.S.B. committees to nine. The purpose of the new committee is to promote in- creased student interest in A.S.B. and class govern- ments. T964-65 also saw the appointment otan A.S.B. Welfare Secretary: Mary Ellen Stesney. Other committees and chairmen include proi- ects, John Hudkins, seminars, Barb Glascockg build- ing and grounds, Bob McCarlg handbook, Maryla Gustafson, AFS, Diane McKinney, avvards, Sharon Hovvserg trattic safety, Don Forbes, constitution, Marty Steinbock. These A.S.B. committee heads contribute to a smoothly-functioning student government. 2 A.S.B. representatives convey the ideas of the students they represent to the student council.
