I is .J Q , --.mfr .. wr ww-vw ., -M Our dean of girls, Miss Maxine Heringer, has proved time and again that efficiency experts do exist. Whether it be an individual, a small group, or the entire South Salem Girls' League, Miss Heringer is always eager and willing to offer advice and guidance and is on hand for all school functions. As dean of boys at South, Mr. Del Ramsdell has accomplished much in the way of uniformity and organ- ization. We are appreciative of the contribution he has made by his counseling and by his supervision of park- ing and traffic regulations around the campus. As it is with the dean of girls, Mr. Ramsdell also gives unself- ishly of his time for student functions. A considerate and understanding administrator of South Salem is Mr. Neil Brown, our vice-principal. He is but one man handling with ease the du- ties of several. Not only has he served as the guiding light for many seniors with questions about their future edu- cation, but has devoted much of his time smoothing the problems confronting var- ious other students as well. Mr. Brown is the man behind South's curricular system and in accordance with this, South High now may boast with confidence of un- usually fine academic opportunities. Through Mr. Harold Hauk's efforts the athletic and physical education programs of the school run smoothly. He has been in charge of the Physical Edcuation and athletic department.
