A new school anthem was in- troduced by Mr. Wally Jonhson and the A cap- pella choirg the team teaching program was tested in the American Problems classesg the United Fund goal was surpassed because of a SS 246. 79 effort by the Senior Class. The class of '62 has a high academic standing. As Sopho- mores the class scored in the top 2070 of all schools in the nation of the Iowa Test. Seniors Dave Torgeson and Bill Nowack were semi-fi- nalists in the National Merit Scholarship Test. On the same test 12 were awarded commen- dations. The seniors chose royal blue caps and gowns for graduation. Heading the Senior Class Council are Bill Hoh- wiesner, Laurie Boden- weiser, Mary Clark, and Jon Brack. Mr. Richard Johnson has been Senior Class Ad- visor for two con- secutive years. He helps students overcome school problems, plan fo , future careers, and prepare for college education and scholarships.
