Under the guidance of Carole trahan, president, and Miss Harriet Hardy, Girls' Iounselor, the first event was the New Girls' 'arty. Next on the agenda was Sea Shell Swirl, ie annual Girls' League Dance. Career Day aid- d members of the student body in choosing a ocation, while May Day was one of the most tlccessful ever held. The sophomore, junior, and :nior class teas were handled by class representa- ives, and the annual Girls' League picnic, held t Arroyo Seco, provided fun and food for every- ne. After getting otf to a slow start. the Stall planned the dummy. the pictures were taken, and production started. The ant editors. Dixie Livingston and l,inda Williams, turned out exceptional division pages and end sheets, while Miss Hester l.auman supervised. l,inda Ruddy worked long and hard on scheduling the juniors and seniors for their photographs. Alex Robert- son lined up the faculty and helped all the other sections, while Don King worried over the Copa's finances. .loan Larson saw to it that the iunior and senior panels were pasted up for the Classes section. and Karlin Hansen labored many hours over Organizations. .-Xdvertising was handled by Diane Carlson. and ,lack Ferron was in charge of .-Xthletics. jackie llitlker supervised the popu- lar school life section, and photography for the book was managed by Ronnie Mardigian with the assistance of Harold Garb. Mr. li. H. Crook, adviser, and Mary Stratton, editor, acted as over- seers. Up to their necks in work but sharing many good times together-the 1052 Copa de Oro staff members.
