Under the leader- ship of Commissioner-Cleneral, Frank Loffer, who emceed the assemblies with ease and grace, the Commission worked long and hard for the better- ment of the student body. Managing A. S. B. sales this year were janet Olson and joe Peatman who brought the sales up to 95 per cent. Carole Strahan and Greg Danninger handled the Girls' and Boys' Leagues, respectively, while ,lim Knerr kept the students posted on Athletics. Marguerite Addoms recorded the minutes of each Commis- sion meeting and Tom Shepard saw to it that the campus was kept clean. Publicizing school activi- ties was Ronnie Mardigan who kept the commu- nities well informed via the newspapers. Raising money for the A. S. B. funds the Com- mission sponsored a novelty program in the form of the Fire House Five Plus Two. 'Fhe dixie- land band played to a packed auditorium on Feb- ruary 18, thrilling its listeners with renditions of typical old dixieland. The l'Queen of Hearts Ball , held on October 20 saw the crowning of the football queen, as the Commissioners present- ed their annual fall dance.
