Each morning every South High student is greeted over our public address system with a cheerful hello , the reading of the Bible and the regular daily announcements. Behind these remarks and responsible for seeing that everything's heard are the console operators pictured below. Under the direction ot E. G. Diehm each person is assigned to one period each day and during the homeroom period. Duties include playing records for various classes, tuning in radio pro- grams related to class study and transmitting them to the proper rooms, and accepting and transmitting calls from the main office.
