More Couples And il Lot More Spirit Make Sadie Fun ln the past years Sadie was held at Malkersons ranch, but on Saturday October 27th, 88 couples boarded 3 buses to Hyland Ski Chalet. This year there were 40 more couples than last, which shows the girls this year had alot more spirit than in the past. South students put more tradition in this years Sadie with the addition of the marriage ceremony and the jail, for the guys who refused to hold hands. Many South students were disappointed because there was no hay ride this year. The night consisted mainly ol dancing, talking, picture taking, and getting married. All-'n-All, most had a great night. 1. Debbie Rosenow and Darcy Alm make an arch tor Mary Harrity and Todd Anderson. 2. 197.9-80 Sno-Daze Suffers From Lack Uf Snow - Not Spirit This year's Sno-Daze week was held from Feb. 11th-15th. It was a very successful week as many people participated in the activities. Monday, the National Honor Society sponsored a hay ride which was held at Diamond-T Ranch. Tuesday was tally day. Wednesday was Sophomore day and T- Shirt day. There was a wide variety ot T-Shirts worn that day with sayings like Your Den or Mine and The more l know Men the better I like My Dog . The Coronation was held that night when Queen Sue Moats and King Larry Larson were crowned. Junior day was Thursday when they sold candy tor Valentines Day. Friday was Senior Day. They sponsored an event called Be Somebody Day . The idea was to dress up as somebody you always wanted to be. Friday night was the annual Sno-Daze Dance teaturing the band l'Second Level The big bummer about the Whole week was that Winterim was cancelled city wide because of to many injuries to students in past years. ln the past, the Winterim Day was one ot the highlights of the entire week. 1. Cindy Clarkson and Trina Rogers dance to Pop Music during the Coronation. 2. Lori Dombrovskis and Curtis Givens, Sophomore attendants. 3. Larry Larson is crowned King. 4. Sue Moats is surprised to be crowned Queen. 5. Andy Wrobel and Shelley Hartley were the M.C.'s at the SnofDaze Coronation. 6.
