Homecoming Great Success Homecoming this year was shortened from a full week to three days because of the teachers conventions, but this did not dim our spirit or success. The week began with the coronation Monday night of Queen Diane Moats and King Chuck Lamb. Following on Tuesday was the Hay ride and on Wednesday, the triumph of the South Football team over Southwest 12 to 6. The Homecoming week came to a close with the dance Wednesday night, to the music of Woodrose. Other activities during the week were sales of Li 11 Orbit donuts, cotton candy, caramel apples, buttons, balloon tickets, garters and pennants by the various classes and organizations. All in all, this years Homecoming was just as everyone hoped it would be-spirited and successful!
