Dedication To Activities N ( » high school education is complete ii a student fails to enter into extracurricular activities. One of the cardinal principles cultivated by dub activities is character. At these various clubs students become intimately acquainted with each other. Many of the friends they have made through these clubs will l c lifelong friends. The students arc given an opportunity to shoulder responsibility and see if they can do it efficiently and quickly. By joining all these clubs a | erson feels fit to go out and face the world. R MvI.ING Along with the South High Whirlo Skating Club is a pleasure; it makes you feel as though it is time to Wake up and Live. The Whirlo Club lias sponsored several skating parties at different skating centers. The master of all the Whirlo skaters at South is Mr. Paul E. Keehn. USH. ‘ RS Club is always present at all school functions. You may see the girls with their black and white dresses directing the people to their seats or Whirlo Ushers taking tickets and assisting at the doors. This club contributes a great deal in helping the school retain its high standards. The club is under the leadership of Miss Hardon and Mr. Omdoba. [20]
