Hlass Prvphevy By Mary Nell Smith Although it has never been publicly announced it is generally known that I possess the remarkable power of projecting myself through the years into any given time in which I am interested. Tonight, being restless and weary with the cares of the day, I longed for a change of scene and tune. So, closing my eyes and re- laxing one night with the moon shining bright, looking at the stars and wondering to myself how I wish I could predict what my fellow classmates will be doing five or even twenty years from today. Still wanting to know about the future of my classmates, all of a sudden the stars disappeared and the night was still dark. This was very strange to me because I had never seen such darkness. For awhile I was afraid it was too dark for me to move because I could not see anything. Then out of the darkness came one little star shining very bright, and with this star came a great voice, of course this frightened me because I could see no one and like a wish coming true out of no where this voice said to me, l shall grant your wish. With only one star in the sky shining very bright all of my classmates came before me very clearly. Five years from now I see George Gaines proprietor of his own business establishment and not any customers, because he sells only to himself. Homer Chambers appearing in Hollywood singing his great hit, My Love. James Caruthers, a Junior at Eagle SL Phenix University of Columbus,Georgia, majoring in Cotton push- ing.
