Thus drama featured a cast of well versed ln the art of actlng, and starred Peggy Daddlo as Angle, and ASB Prexy Tom Fletcher taklng the role ot Jack, Other players too numerous to men- tnon deserve much credlt, along wnth Mr. Ralph Beckett dnrectlng hrs flrst mayor South Gate praductlon. Second productlon of the year came when Take Care Cf My l.nttle Gul was gnven for a large and enthuslastlc audience an l-lonn Aud. Mann roles In thls play were taken by Margie Satterfleld, Bull Spendlove and Jlm Santangelo, and Dlane Walker. On award day South Gate honored the best actress and actors by grvlng an award, the high school equlvalent to the Oscar of the Hollywood Realm These awards went to Peggy Daddla and Marcua Menkus for Seventeenth Summer.
