TO THE FUTURE To you who turn these pages twenty years from now . . . To you this book is dedicated Happily. Our high school years were years of joy. May yours also be, As you prepare to meet your future To you who turn these pages forty years from now . , . To you this book is dedicated Prayerfully, Our high school years saw loss and sorrow too, May you also know The strength which faith may bring in sorrow. To you who turn these pages sixty years from now . , , To you this book is dedicated Trustingly. ln your mingled joys and sorrows May enjoyment of our peculiar, ancient ways Bring laughter in the sorrows you may have. To you who turn these pages eighty years from now , . . To you this book is dedicated Hesitatingly. This is our record, written in the dust. ln your advanced days How strange our ways may seem! And yet this truth, changeless and un- changed, will stand: Your hope of better days remains, as ours, in youth. To you who turn these pages, perhaps a century from now . , To you this book is dedicated Hopefully, To the ideals which have built the free America we love . . . May it still be free for you! To education which develops and strength- ens those ideals . . May it continue to grow, and flourish And improve with every passing year. x t N i i X! 1, fi y f R V' 'P' it Fi 5: fs i Q s rperv- ww.: , fl Ti if TFA ,H VF, W ,-'22 Q5 ,L F if' r, -e f if xx 1, .
