Girls' League and Boys' Winter ,Qwuarev C N-...Mx Don Mann, Don Guynn, Mr. Rork, James Rogers U61 GIRLS' LEAGUE The Girls' League is an organization to which all girls in sohcol automatically belong. It is particularly active in the development of leaders among girls and in the discovery of talent. The group this semester has initiated and sponsored a number of assemblies, parties, teas and other events. Any girl having ability and the desire to serve her schcol will find Girls' League the opportunity to become better known and make more friends. The officers work with the leaders of each grade and their committees. B-10 leader was Janice Cady: A-10, Lorraine Fordham: B 11, Evelyn Nelson: A-11, Donna Wiseman, and A-12, Helen Faw. Dr. Alice Horn sponsors the girls and the officers for the last year were, president, Almorrde DeAbate: vice-president, Dolores Mountcastle: and secretary, Shirley Wllson. STUDENT COURT The purpose of the Student Cont is to try the cases of those who break Student Government rules and regulations. The judge for the fall term was Marilyn Anderson: during the spring semester Alice Berg presided. The judge's duty is to hear the evidence and render a decision. The cIerk's duty is issuing summons and keeping a record of sentences. For the first part of the year Joan Bradley had the job of clerk, while Shirley Cass finished out the year.
