This organization acts to coordinate the volunteer efforts of other school organi- zations and clubs which assist with Student Government. lt's motto is: Govern- ment of the students, by the students, and for the students. The purpose of the Executive Council, made up of Student Body cfficers and grade representatives, is to consider the problems of the school as a whole and to devise means of solving them. Girls' League and Boys' Winter ,Qwuarev C N-...Mx Don Mann, Don Guynn, Mr. Rork, James Rogers U61 GIRLS' LEAGUE The Girls' League is an organization to which all girls in sohcol automatically belong. It is particularly active in the development of leaders among girls and in the discovery of talent. The group this semester has initiated and sponsored a number of assemblies, parties, teas and other events. Any girl having ability and the desire to serve her schcol will find Girls' League the opportunity to become better known and make more friends. The officers work with the leaders of each grade and their committees. B-10 leader was Janice Cady: A-10, Lorraine Fordham: B 11, Evelyn Nelson: A-11, Donna Wiseman, and A-12, Helen Faw. Dr. Alice Horn sponsors the girls and the officers for the last year were, president, Almorrde DeAbate: vice-president, Dolores Mountcastle: and secretary, Shirley Wllson.
