10 Dr. Taylor M. joyner, Principal CH IEF ARCHITECT Graduates: As our first peace-time graduates, you have a great responsibility upon you. You are about to enter a very complicated civilization. A little knowledge or understanding of it is not enough. Your watch-word should be pre- pare, prepare, prepare. The really successful leaders in our country are the people who have prepared themselves IN ADVANCE, and were ready to take over when the opportunity arose. Life is an on-going process. Everything, all the time, is changing. Nothing stands still. Hence, one is really never prepared but is al- ways preparing and becoming. The perpetual movement on to something new, changed, and different is the essence of happy living. And so it is, Onward South Cate Graduates, On- ward to Success.
