The South Dorchester High School Library is a fine one with about three thousand, two hundred fifty books and 48 periodicals. The librarians are in the library for the purpose of assisting and recom- mending interesting reading material to faculty and students. They also help in locating and checking out books. The library serves as a key toward helping students as they prepare themselves to be well informed citizens in a rapidly progressing SOCIety.
