They are the Mn Fix-its ot' the SUUTI-tl Cf'AROl-lNA. The men of A-Gang deal with the everyday upkeep and maintenance of shipboard machinery from the l'oc'scle to the lantail. We repair and oversee four air conditioning units and the ship's service steam system in order to maintain the crew's comfort. Refrigeration units keep the large amount of food onboard fresh and rcatlv for the crevv's appetite. The men of A-Division care for the ship's small boats. emergency diesel generators, helicopter refueling equipment. and electronic equipment cooling. If all of this is not enough, they also stay busy operating and maintaining the anchor windlass, steering gear. hydraulic systems. service air systems. conveyors, galley and seullcry equipment. and any other unclaimed machinery. If the men ol A Division get called to the problem. one can be assured that it will be tixed!
