Dual Meet Record 5 Victories — 2 Losses S 24 Coyle-Cassidy 35 17 Dighton-Rehoboth 46 22 Seekonk 33 21 Diman 36 37 Taunton 20 29 Attelboro 28 21 Feehan 34 Cross Country This year’s Richard Bernardo led Cross-Country team finished with a dual meet record of 5 wins and 2 losses but, this does not tell the full story of this fine team. The boys led by Seniors Eric Gartner and Gerry Harris, were extremely competative in the meets and the entire boys team should be highly praised. The other standouts for “The Big Blue Machine” were Bill Robitaille, Paul Gartner, Brendan McNally, Dave Gauthier and the Gallant brothers Glenn and Jerry. A remarkable girls ' team led by Michelle Lussier and freshman Marilyn Fernandes, finished an extremely excellent fifth place in the state. The girls being a very young team found that what was lost in experience was made up in enthusiasm, hard work, and much discipline. Knowing what Coach Bernardo has done in the past for Cross Country we should expect great results from “The Big Blue Machine.” Bottom Row: David Gauthier, Brendan Mcnally, Glenn Gallant, Gerry Gallant, Ed Kortas, Kevin Sow- den. Second Row: Jackie Boudreau, Jeanie Hoyle, Jane Bence, Michelle Lussier, Theresa Populow- ski, Brenda Almeida, Kim Wilson, Carrie Griffin, Marylin Fernandes. Third Row: Carolyn Corrigan, Paul Gartner, Eric Gartner, Gerry Harris, Tom Sullivan, Bill Robataille, Lori Bernardo, Coach Rich¬ ard Bernardo.
