I CCl'l'lClf lC Ml jefln Miss Tish and Associates Fifty-four The Dramatic Guild, under the able guidance of Miss Gertrude Lucas, is one ot the largest clubs at Soldan-Blewett. Membership is open to students interested in any phase ot the theater, Cacting, directing, makeup, lighting, and soundl. At the meetings the members take part in skits and various other activities. An annual picnic climaxes the Guilds yearly program. This year the Guild was honored by being asked to prepare a skit for the Annual St. Louis Public School Patrons' Alliance Dinner at the DeSoto Hotel in February. The skit Girls Must Talk proved to be an entertaining pro- gram and was very Well received by a large audience. This play was repeated for the Mothers' Club in April. As this book goes to press, the Guild, renowned for its annual full-length production, is dili-- gently preparing the delightful comedy Tish which we expect to add to our long list of successful plays.

The Radio Production Class ot Soldan-Blewett is one ot the most interesting and beneficial classes in school. lt is not only a preparation lor students who Want to go into the field ol radio, but gives one a knowledge of writing of scripts as well as the correct speech. Under the leadership of Miss Gertrude Lucas, Filty-six the Class has given a number of programs on the Board ot Education Station KSLH, pro- grams for the Mothers Club and has particif pated in auditorium sessions for the school. We are sure that the Radio Production Class will continue to give line programs as it has in the past and will rise to even greater heights in the future.
