SECOND ROW: Mr. Forsman Katz Schneider, Gerstein, Kirk, L., Frank, Soffer, Kanefield, Miss Brown. me IQ eCf0I Captain and First Mate QS. Y' Y 3 i -U 4 7' Fifty -uin- Realizing that publishing a yearbook of which the students will be proud has its trying mo- ments, the REFLECTOR Staff believes it has succeeded in bringing the student body a good picture of your 1952-1953 school life. The head staff member and foreman of the production is our sponsor, Mr. Forsman. The steps of production, though able to be stated in a small space, take the full school year to complete. The first evidence of our work is the fall picture schedule, These pic- tures are taken, sent to the engraver, and iden- tifications sent to the printer. We must now select layouts that will be new and attractive, Always in the back of our thoughts is the idea of some innovation in the general layout of the book. Also we must keep in mind the purpose of a yearbook -to bring the students the schools major events told mostly in pictures.
