g0l'a Agora, Greek for meeting place, meets every day in room 317, second period under the sponsorship of Mr. Gummersheimer. Agora consists of one member from each advisory in Soldan-Blewett. Their chief duties are to sell the school newspaper Spotlight, the school yearbook, REFLECTOR, and passes for football, basketball, and other athletic activities. There are seven teams this year under their own individual team captains. At the beginning of each second period the members of these teams deposit the money they have collected from their advisories with their team captains, who in turn write out a receipt for each depositor. They then deposit all the money they have collected with the teller. When this has been completed the teller then turns the money over to the file clerk to finish the business of the day. The organization Agora enables every day pu- pils to achieve a sense of reliability and responsibiln ity while doing the school a great service.
