The Girls' Pep Club is one of the school's most active organizations. Through Working and playing together in the Pep Club, the girls at Soldan-Blewett become better acquainted, friendlier, and more enthusiastic. Each girl strives to create school spirit and spread it throughout the student body. The members are divided into committees: The Entertainment Committee, which selects the games and entertainment for parties, The Food Committee, which plans, prepares, and serves refreshments, The Decoration Committee, whose members decorate tor parties in the spirit of the event, and the Business Committee, which attends to all correspondence not taken care of by an oiticer. Leonard Steve DUMMIES The Distributive Education Clubs have become very active at Soldan-Blewett this year. Aside from their activities, which train the members to take their place in the business world, the retail selling classes are members of the Dis- tributive Education Club ot Missouri. This spring they attended the State Retail Conven- tion at which they presented a miniature Win- dow display. MEETING ,,, 64,4 57,,f,., am Girls of every term are eligible for member- ship and are invited to join as soon as they enter school. A Vxfelcoming Party is given for all Freshrnen girls each terrn to introduce them to the club and its members. The Entertainf ment Comznittee directs games that soon puts everyone at ease to enjoy themselves and the refreshments prepared. Each year, aside from their regular activities of selling school pencils and giving various affairs, the girls like to work on some special project. This year, they have decided upon a seal for a uniform school button for Soldan- Blewett students to wear. Probably the most looked-forward to activity is the Letterman's Party. This affair is held every term to honor the Senior Lettermen and the lettermen of the preceding season.
