Qffn, scenery construction, dramatics, play writing, and costume designing, in tact, all the various divisions of the theater, are studied by the Dramatic Guild under the sponsorship of Miss PLAYING Gertrude Lucas. This year's activities included a series of one act plays written, acted, and directed by the members themselves. A group ot short skits, and several reports on produc- tions given by other groups were also included in the years calendar. The purposes of the club are to develop leadership among the members that they may assume responsibilities in retailing, to provide activities which will aid the members to develop self-confidence in the performance of their jobs, to strive for the development of proper co-operation between members and their fellow employees, and to help the mem- bers develop an understanding of the many retailing jobs.
