SEATED' Stone, Kreisman, Rubin, Deal, Chazen, Garfinkel, Roth, lackoway, Sax, Iackson, Williams, Furstenberg. STANDlNG Miss Brown, Mr. Forsman. We of the yearbook staff have thoroughly enjoyed all the work necessary to bring you this record of your activities here at Soldan- Blewett with the hope that it will serve to remind you of pleasant days spent within these halls. Much work is entailed in the production of such a publication, possibly more than many realize. ln the fall term the staff is selected from among the students and the planning of the book begins. Different duties are assigned to the staff members thought best qualified for them. Picture schedules are arranged, layouts and cover design selected, paper and printing styles chosen, and all the other details neces- sary for a fine publication ironed out. VVith the coming of spring the actual produc tion begins. Editorial copy is written, edited, set up by the printer, proof-read and duinmv sheets returned to the printer. Pictures are taken, their identifications ver1fied, and sent to the engraver where plates are made. The subscription campaign gets 'inder way and receipts collected by the Atgoia representatives Then, after a short wait durini rrintina, comes the result of all our efforts, a l95l HlfFl,HCTQR fresh off the press.
