There are three Orchestras and three Bands at Soldan-Blewett High School. All'are under the direction oi a full-time instructor. The School Board furnishes the larger instruments. Most of the beginning students start on these. In the past tew years, very few instrumentalists have come into Soldan-Blewett irom the ele- mentary schools. The Intermediate band is a group of players in about second term experi- ence with an instrument. Most of them will progress next term into the concert band it they pass certain requirements set up by the instructor. By using steel shelved cabinets and folders, there is very little need tor a librarian. How- ever there are two student instructors this last term who have helped a great deal with the sectional work and are to be complimented very highly upon their working standards.
