The Reflector staff has worked diligently this past year in an effort to bring to you, the students oi Soldan-Blewett High, an annual which will record many of the events of your school life of the year 1949-1950. A yearbook. such as the Reflector. can at best give only a sketch of the numerous activities which take place in a school as large as ours. Neverthe- less. we have tried to make this' sketch cover as much territory as possible without making the book overly large and expensive. We feel certain that the Reflector will bear out its name by reflecting to you a picture of the life of your school. In addition we trust that the photo- graphs and articles which we present in this publication will recall to the readers now and in years to come many pleasant thoughts of their years in Soldari-Blewett. The staff is composed of a group of fifteen to twenty students, mostly seniors. It is aided greatly by Mr. Foreman, the faculty sponsor. and Miss Brown, the faculty business manager. SPOTLIGHT endeavors to cover as many phases as possible of the school and its activi- ties. It aims sincerely to present the truth and to merit the highest journalistic promise. All members are selected on the basis of co-opera- tion. dependability, scholarship, and citizenship. The training involves much preparation lor the future responsibility.
