R osemary Walkup HE Fleur de Lis was organized by mem- bers of the past French Clubs of Soldan and Blewett, under the sponsorship of Miss Tim- mons. The purposes of both clubs being similar, the members continued to familiar- ize themselves with French customs, music, art, literature, and games. The girls formed teams which consist of four members. From each of these teams a cap- tain was chosen by the members. The cap- tain is responsible for the scores and aver- ages of her team. A name is chosen for each team as the adult leagues do. These names are originalg they run from The Bowling Bums to Hot Cindersf' girls' The purpose of the club is to promote good sportsmanship, but While succeeding in this purpose, the members gain many new friends by having a good time. During the Fall Term the club was under the sponsorship of Miss Hazeltine and Miss Dolan. HE Magic Club, in the few months it has been in existence, has done much toward stirring up an interest in magic as an enjoy- able hobby. There are thirteen boys in the club, and each one has an earnest desire to learn magic. At the meetings, magic is demonstrated and explained.
