ISS THYM, the sponsor, is pleased with the improvemennt shown by these young men since the beginning of the Fall Term. The Boys' Glee appeared before the Soldan- Blevvett Mothers' Club, assisted the choir in carol singing at Christmas. and provided music for the Senior Class Day program. The school appreciates the fine music which the Boys' Glee has presented in vari-- ous programs. This organization is begin- ning to take its place among the more ad- vanced music groups of the school. Helen Demetis, Jane Goodwin HE Junior Chaminade, sometimes called Cadettes, Works enthusiastically to achieve such necessities in singing as voice place- ment, correct breathing, and diction. This group of girls under the guidance of their much admired music director, Miss Thym, has grown in musicianship as Well as mem- bership. Now they number ninety-four. Junior Chaminade takes part in many of the programs given at Soldan-Blewett. The members of this group receive good musical experience by taking part in such programs. When it is believed that a girl has advanced far enough, she may be moved into Senior Chaminade and possibly A Cappella. The members of Junior Chaminade look forward with anticipation to the time when they are considered Worthy of being members of the advanced groups. A sincere invitation is ex- tended to any girl who would like to become a member of this group to try out with Miss Thym.

i HE Soldan-Blevvett Concert Orchestra consists of members who have passed its entrance examination or have met the re- quirements by having been passed from the Intermediate Orchestra into its ranks. It meets daily in a regular period. The Junior and Intermediate Orchestras also meet in regular periods. The Concert Orchestra plays for auditorium sessions and special occasions.
