HE Agassiz Club of Soldan-Blewett High offers an attraction to students who desire to continue their nature study after fin- ishing the regular science course. The bi- weekly meetings are informal but highly informative. The Agassiz Club is a chapter of the Junior Academy of Science. The club had an exhibit of spring wild flowers on display in the last Science Fair. Hikes in the area surrounding St. Louis are held sev- eral times a semester for the purpose of studying flora and fauna and incidentally making many new friends. Several social affairs are also held during the term, includ- ing a party for seniors and a picnic for the new members. The Agassiz Club is under Q gafkuz the able sponsorship of Mrs. Katherine gf Chambers. ug FIRST Rgywc Weefxicky Krugman' Pctznll. Bm-key, K,-gifmgm, VVoI1'5berg, Renuzirll.
